Interesting also in relation to the title of B2 being similar to The House on the Borderland (1908). In a lot of Lovecraft's correspondence he talked about Chambers as an important supernatural horror writer, and he also mentions him--and "In Search of the Unknown" specifically--in his famous essay, "Supernatural Horror in Literature" (New York: Dover, 1973). Thus, we can connect this book to D&D in just a couple of steps.Jason Carneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17279418997850991996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-10008115223835708802011-12-10T14:51:14.376-05:002011-12-10T14:51:14.376-05:00The story "The Repairer of Reputations" ...The story "The Repairer of Reputations" is astonishing.Ed Parkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06968478096142741974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-82593933984749842932011-12-10T14:45:32.667-05:002011-12-10T14:45:32.667-05:00Oddly enough, I just discovered this book today as...Oddly enough, I just discovered this book today as well, while searching eBay for a copy of B1.Chris Sheppardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12555034342473159491noreply@blogger.com
