It makes it a bit easier to read when all of the rows aren't stacked so tightly. Kind of a 1.25x spacing I guess is the easiest way to explain it. If they are wide, colored backgrounds make it easier to read across them, but additional whitespace makes it easier to reference in general.thegnomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09252893577912094128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-19267365596333867842011-10-06T16:44:46.376-04:002011-10-06T16:44:46.376-04:00Pretty. Sometimes fancy doesn't mean better. The World of Darkness books look great, but for the most part I find them difficult to read. There's way too much "eye candy". If it's a gaming book I need to be able to read it with ease. So far what you're doing looks fine to me.Zanazazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04980968371007703230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-60198470664532068662011-10-06T15:11:39.658-04:002011-10-06T15:11:39.658-04:00Mike,

I never did, because I didn't think I could layout it myself and I hate having to rely on others to do it for me, since I continually fiddle and tweak and add to the content, making it frustrating for anyone who isn't me to work on this stuff.

The goal, ultimately, is to have three such documents: one on characters and magic, one on monsters and treasure, and one on the setting of the campaign. Once those are done, I'll follow up with the Dwimmermount megadungeon itself, whose format I'm still debating in my head.James Maliszewskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00341941102398271464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-36987866130857002512011-10-06T15:08:33.882-04:002011-10-06T15:08:33.882-04:00Will you make this available to those of us that l...Will you make this available to those of us that love seeing this stuff? :) I love the simple layout, very cool.Mike D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11812658778436294258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-78031239505791272082011-10-06T15:01:22.082-04:002011-10-06T15:01:22.082-04:00It's the first part of my Dwimmermount campaig...It's the first part of my Dwimmermount campaign house rules document, focusing on characters and magic.
