those Moon Design RQ reprints are outstanding. I haven't seen the Cults one, but both Borderlands and the Pavis/Big Rubble book cram in lots of little bits that didn't make it into the originals.
@moonlapse -- sort of (wrt to added detail); Rick "filled out" each of the reprint books with additional material from other pre-published sources. So, while the Pavis/Big Rubble and Borderlands books have bits in them that weren't in the original boxed sets, those bits are not entirely new: they're reprinted from other sources.
@Paul -- but of course; that's the dreaded jack-o-bear. And in case you take it too lightly because you're snorking at how ridiculous that is, don't get too close to one because it'll rip your head off. The Gloranthan bestiary is rife with this kind of "humour" and, oddly, represents one of the ostensible barriers to entry that people often complain about ("how can I take the background seriously with all those Ducks wandering around?")
@James -- I writhe with envy. My white box has not yet appeared. As a palliative I will have go home and direct my gaze at my hc Moon Design reprint set... ::grindgrindgrind::

Wow... I'd love to have those Moon Design compilations. I've been considering taking the (insanely expensive) plunge over the last few months. Thanks for giving me envy to fuel my poor financial decision.
Oh! Please PLEASE tell me how the new Griffin Mountain looks! That was one of my favorite of the old Chaosium RQ supplements, and a review would make my day (or month)!
Excellent haul there, esp. the three Runequest reprints from Moon Design. Those are solid books (gaming and literally speaking!)
I still think one of the better intros to Glorantha is the excellent King of Dragon Pass computer game by A-Sharp. Sells pretty cheap ($20USD) and doesn't require much at all computer wise. It's only fault is lack of multiplayer but guiding your tribe of barbarians over the years is fun enough. Good printed manual too with a good overview of the setting. http://a-sharp.com/kodp/

Finally, the excellent and free Heroquest Voices PDF. Really highlights the multiple reality/mythical nature of Glorthantha. http://glorantha.com/products/3001.html

Well, if you were in the Toronto area, I might be able to offer you one :) Assuming nothing changes, I plan to start a RQ2 Prax campaign sometime after Dwimmermount stops or goes on hiatus. I have no clue when that might be, as it's still going very strong, but I'm very smitten with RQ these days and plan to run it as soon as I am able.

I've been interesting in looking into RQ. Where did you find those books? (checked my usual, mundane sources to no avail)
