The Shadow of Solomoriah

Was this ever actually produced?

  1. No, sadly. I knew a guy who sent a SASE to Tramp for more info, but all he got was a Wormy button and notice that the anthology was cancelled.

  2. A pity the Wormy anthology never materialized.

I still have my "Fineous Fingers Treasury" though. :-)

  3. Addendum: he received a few letters from Tramp, in addition to receiving the Wormy button for investing $10 in the anthology. Tramp couldn't get it together and sent his customers the following letter to either stay invested or drop out.

    Eventually, he returned everybody's money.

P.S. How did I post under two different online IDs?

  6. One of the great "might have beens" of gaming history.  :(

  7.  Yeah, I saved up and sent in my money when it was first announced.  I sure wish it had been produced.  I missed out on Phineas Fingers.  Didn't want to miss out on this.  So sad.....

  8. If only he wasn't a recluse who hates being reminded of gaming these days. This would be an awesome Kickstarter.

  9. I still have $100 sitting on the counter (according to Akrasia, we in Canada call that a "Borden") ready to pay for a Wormy collection.

  10. I've been wondering lately would it be possible to get a Kickstarter going on a provisonal basis?  To try to get DTs attention as to demand and that there could be substantial amounts of money for him.  I seriously think 100000$ could be raised within a week.

  11. Sadly, no it wasn't. Back in the day I too ponied up some cash (I think it was $35) to see this published. I sadly got my money back and the aforementioned button....It's a shame really, his later pages were drop-dead gorgeous.

  13. Bet that form letter alone is worth twelve bucks nowadays!

  14. Steve:  if you're interested, I think I have a spare FF collection, and would be happy to bring it down to NTX if you'll be there and want to buy it?

  15. I got the refund on this as well, although I don't recall receiving a button :(

This and the Skip Williams "Shadowland" adventure were my two most disappointing cancelled products from BITD (as opposed to never-happened products, like Castle Greyhawk).

  16. It's too bad that Tramp is so anti-gaming and reclusive. I had this way back when and got my refund and the aforementioned button (which I wish I still had). Loved Wormy. I know a Kickstarter for this might easily rival OotS success if the word got out (and with the Internet you know it would).

  17. I also got my money back, and I still have the button! --> http://bit.ly/Jz11U9 Neither of which is adequate compensation for not having the Wormy anthology.

  18. Entirely unfortunate.  The picture of the wizard and demon breaking into the myriad spheres remains a favorite.

  19. Kickstarter or just put it up on lulu.com...
