It's another to hide behind the shield of anonymity while so doing.

Thanks. I enjoy your comments, both here and at the Original D&D Forum (where you might have seen me post as Coffee).

In a way, it shows that you're on the right track. I wonder why...granted, it's a small population state, but it's not the smallest, and I know they have gamers there.Timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06477824741510688708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-71579137284717533352008-06-03T16:15:00.000-04:002008-06-03T16:15:00.000-04:00Hey James,I've wanted to comment for awhile that, ...Hey James,

I've wanted to comment for awhile that, while I am eager to play 4e, I have been gaming with D&D and other systems since 1977 and I appreciate where you're coming from. You write quite eloquently about your understanding of OD&D and its history and I think you've lately been zeroing in with greater precision on what those almost-ineffable qualities of the game are/were and why you and so many others continue to champion that style. I say more power to you and while I might also enjoy a campaign or two in that style, I'm easily distracted by shiny things and my gaming time is limited :)

Anyhow, just my long-winded way of saying don't let the kids come over here to tag the place with graffiti get you down too much and keep up the excellent work.Scott Faulknerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04017047782663517483noreply@blogger.com
