I was referring to the C&S inspiration of the cover and not the cover itself (the overall excellence of which was mentioned, and indeed I think the cover art is pretty striking.)

For those unfamiliar with C&S, the cover layout of The Spire of Iron and Crystal is highly reminiscent of the look of a number of C&S products, and the S&W logo on it is directly in the style of C&S's logo. The logo on the S&W core book is very similar, of course, but in this usage, complete with the black background, I think it's a clearer and more obvious homage.Ardwulfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02558225965267969740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-4430878195643870972009-05-15T11:57:00.000-04:002009-05-15T11:57:00.000-04:00Thanks for the reminder, Matt! Thanks for the reminder, Matt!AndreasDavourhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17170806742393291962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-12212975811954470292009-05-15T00:11:00.000-04:002009-05-15T00:11:00.000-04:00@Andreas: Don't forget: type MAYCONTEST10 into the...@Andreas: Don't forget: type MAYCONTEST10 into the coupon code area for 10% off.Matt Finchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07678557558458924177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7487871339000666216.post-56971210871873364152009-05-14T23:22:00.000-04:002009-05-14T23:22:00.000-04:00Being a T&T fan, and not a puritan D&D gam...Being a T&T fan, and not a puritan D&D gamer, I really welcome some science fantasy and other "weird" stuff. From the moment things started, the players' faces were absolutely shocked - you could see an almost panicked level of suddenly ratcheting up the mental gears into high. I would certainly think twice before plunging into those alien eggs!
