It might be a magical staff, in which case the MU can use it. Otherwise, it's just a walking stick of some sort. It certainly doesn't look like a fighting staff to me, with that funky cobra head and all.
Not sure why, but that image isn't popping up - I get a "Forbidden" notice when I click on where it should be.
