Puer natus in Bethlehem, alleluia:Unde gaudet Jerusalem, alleluia, alleluia. In cordis jubilo, Christum natum adoremus,Cum novo cantico.
Oh how I love this illustration, and all things Tolkien. Here's a little background, for those who may be interested.https://theconversation.com/j-r-r-tolkiens-christmas-letters-to-his-children-bring-echoes-of-middle-earth-to-the-north-pole-89464
I totally missed the Tolkien reference. I thought those three just to the right of the tree looked a little gnollish. Should have paid more attention to the labels.
I'd seen it before so I was familiar with its origins, but it evokes more of a Narnia feel than Middle Earth to me.One assumes that colossal sapsucker Ungoliant will be by any minute now. :)
You too!- Greg
