Today is my birthday, so I'll be taking it comparatively easy. It's time to catch up on my backlog of email in a leisurely fashion, devote some attention to fun side projects, and generally reflect on a good and happy life. Regular posting resumes tomorrow.
Happy Birthday, James. Being forty is as full of wonder and excitement as the best dungeon crawl. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday James! And thanks for Grognardia. It's basically the equivalent of my morning news. :)
ReplyDeleteI have the big 4-0 coming my way next month myself. Congratulations for another victory lap around the sun.
ReplyDeletewelcome to 40. i've found it's not really that different from 39, just a bit easier to divide by 4.
ReplyDeleteYour life...as it has been...is over. Oh, wait. That happens when you're married. 4-0 is just another stick of dynomite on the cake of life.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
Ciao,
Grendelwulf
Happy 40th mate.
ReplyDeleteThey say life begins at 40. If that's true, then what ends at 39? Please pass on this information... ;)

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday James! Hope you have the bandwidth to "enjoy" it properly.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! It's a good time to stat yourself up as a Ringworld character and see what you can get with an extra year's worth of skill points - just don't overdo it with the drinking necessary to experimentally determine your CON score. - Tavis
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, James. Thanks for all the fine blogging.
ReplyDeleteAs you're now officially "old", I'm sure the pace will slacken somewhat. =)
Happy Birthday! It's all downhill from here!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the big 4-0 James, and may you experience another 100 ..
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, James!!!!.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, James! Isn't there a save vs. aging to be made at 40? No, wait, the term doesn't end until 42.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your time on Grognardia and occasional correspondence. I'm glad to be acquainted with you.
