Arduin was never to my taste, being too far toward the "gonzo" end for me. (As I recall.) I'll be interested to read your thoughts on your latest acquisition.
I am really impressed with Emperor's Choice customer service. The World Book of Khass, like other Arduin supplements are chocked full of whacked ideas.
