Green skin and pig faced! The classics are back!
I love the sunburst on that shield! How cool is that?
I am almost persuaded to the pig-man orc...almost.
Looks like the Otherworld miniatures range Orcs, one day I mean to get some and paint them up as well as get the old Minifig's pig faced Orcs I own back into commission.
Love these snoutly fellows. By the by, what's the common term for the type of armor they're wearing?
That is what is called a "coat of plates" Usually either steel plates rivited to a leather gambson or sandwiched in betweeen to layers of leather and rivited.
I amend that. This is Brigandine armour, related to coats of plates...but a bit different. Its a lot like the Visby coat found in Danmark.
Dude, you write well, pose great interview questions, run a mean campaign AND you can paint!Dammit man, you are making the rest of us look bad.
Pig faced Orks? Pshawww.
To be clear: I sub-contract my minis painting to a friend and player in my campaign. It's he who deserves the kudos for his handiwork, not I.
