As the artwork for
Petty Gods keeps rolling in, I can't help but share it. Here's another amazing piece by
Mark Allen -- hire him if you have any projects that need art! This is Jhillenneth, the Mother of Horrors, a petty god submitted by Matt Fischer.
If I'd known how good the art was going to be I'd have worked even harder on mine.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be such an awesome book. But you know that better than anyone of course.
ReplyDeleteI really like the artwork. It has a classic style to it. It reminds me of the woodcuts of monsters found in old books.
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome! The illustration and the concept for the god. I absolutely can't wait to buy this book.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I feel kind of bad - I guess I could have come up with something better for Heka-Kup. I've gotten to the point where I can't even tell whether what I'm doing is any good or not.
ReplyDeleteAt this point, I just hope it was good enough for James and the book. :/
Excellent illustration btw.

ReplyDeleteIf it weren't, I wouldn't have accepted it. Never fear. This is a community project and I am grateful to everyone who helped out in any way.
Wow. Just wow.
ReplyDeletelooks great. Kind of strong looking for anything petty. Looks like a major god to me!
ReplyDeleteInspirational... and intimidating!
ReplyDeleteCool, looks like something player characters would fight as high point to series of high level adventures. Sort of like Lolth was.
ReplyDeleteAmazingly cool! I can't wait to see more. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great. But echoing Brunomac, she seems anything but a minor goddess.
ReplyDeleteLovely vintage style! But yes, she seems pretty Major. Perhaps Kid Sister of Horrors?
