Happy Halloween!

My nine year-old son is a big fan of the Nintendo Mario games and asked me to carve some pumpkins this year that reflected that. While my wife is out with the kids trick or treating, I'll be holding down the fort, giving out candy and watching Horror of Dracula on DVD.

Have a fun night, everyone!

  1. Happy Halloween, James!

This is off topic, but I didn't know what other way to notify you of this. Is there any reason why Jeff's Gameblog is no longer listed on your "Links of Interest"? I noticed because I use your link list as a jumping off point to other blogs.

  5. Very nice pumpkins--good to see someone doing the classic carving style instead of those intimidating half-toned designs (the translucent ones).

  6. Best Dracula defeat in movie history. I like to slip on an old Silent movie (I think this year I'll do Phantom of the Opera), with Halloween music playing, handing out treats while my wife goes out with the kids. My oldest will come by and help me after a while, his job to bring the two year old home. So that's us. Have a very happy Halloween, and enjoy the days that follow.

Nice to see some grognardism about jack-o-lanterns here. :) Yeah, I hate those translucent designs, too.
