No Posts Tomorrow

I'll likely be incommunicado tomorrow, since I'll be going on a school trip with my son. There's also (in theory, assuming the cable company actually comes when they're supposed to) some work being done to fix my poor phone and Internet connectivity lately. That might take my offline for a while, but I'll resume posts and comments once things settle, which I hope will be sooner rather than later.

  1. In all seriousness, have you ever considered doing a presentation for your son's class on story-games? Talking about how today you can try all these different rules for group storytelling, how it's the sort of thing boys and girls can do together, and how it connects with the READING they're doing (for class, even)?

You're articulate, passionate, and excited about sharing these interests with your son - and the history angle ('how your parents used to spend their free time in the disco era') makes it almost scholarly.

    Anyhow, it's a notion.

  2. James, how dare you put the interests of your family ahead of my need to procrastinate at work! You just went from lawful good to lawful neutral in my book (yes, I still like nine-point alignment), and if you were a Paladin, you are no more. Good day, sir.

  3. Uh... the call of the mundane...
but seriously, a good thing! Enjoy it!
